I still can’t believe that Jodie made all of the flower arrangements for her wedding. They were stunning. Absolutely gorgeous!
It has been a whirlwind of activity around here! People often think that the wedding season is in the summer for us, but it is actually busier in the spring and the fall. Not only have we already had 4 weddings so far this year, I’ve been trying to make sure we get all of our engagement sessions and bridal portrait sessions in now while the weather is nice, before the summer heat arrives!
I decided last week that I want to get everything proofed and ready for clients to see and -then- focus on getting things up here on the blog and in the portfolio. In the past few weeks, we’ve posted:

– Brooke & Billy’s (post-wedding) Engagement/Couple’s Session
– A family session I did for my neighbor whose son Ross is deployed with the Army in Afghanistan

– A shoot I did for Solutions for Hair showing off their amazing styling
– Senior Portrait Sessions for Taylor, Lucy & Katie
– Stela’s Bridal Portrait Session
– Miss M’s Boudoir Session
Still in the queue to be proofed are Sydney & Chris’s Wedding (due to be online by April 22 – tomorrow), Ms. R’s Boudoir Session, Miss E’s Boudoir Session, Miss A’s Boudoir Session, and Farhana & Javad’s Engagement Session. All of which should be online by the end of the weekend. Once that is done, there will be LOTS of things to post on the blog! (Along with lots of album previews going out as well!)
In addition to all these things we’ve been getting out for clients recently, we have GREAT news! We have found a new vendor for our proofbooks! Yeah!!! It has been a long road, and a stressful situation for me. Our previous vendor is no longer available, and after a bit of a hunt and a few failed quality control tests with other companies, we’ve found a fabulous book with a nice leather cover that we really love. (I refused to settle for something I didn’t think was of the best quality.) The test runs were fabulous, and we just got back our first client book and it was excellent as well. If you are waiting for a proofbook, we will be ordering it within the next week and getting it out to you right away!
