This site has been a dream of mine for over a year now. Oh heck, probably 3-4 years. But it has been a year since I registered the URL. So this version of the dream? A year old.
I’ve always believed in sharing what I know. As a creative business owner, figuring out how to do things can be quite a struggle. Even worse, most of us are solopreneurs, and we don’t have anyone to talk with about the issues we come up against, how they will work out, that sort of thing. We don’t have a boss that we can go to for advice.
We are all alone.
That sucks some days. It is really hard. And the reality is, you’re not all alone. I’ve been there. I want to help you out.
So on Halloween, I read a post about Contentpalooza and doing it at the same time as NaNoWriMo. It hit me. Why the hell was I just sitting on my ideas? Why not share it freely with the world here?
Over the month of November, it is my goal to create 50,000 words of content. Most of it will likely be here, because I pretty much spend 24/7 thinking about business related stuff. If I’m not writing here, it will be on my personal blog, BigPinkCookie (aka the BPC in my twitter name), or my other business sites.
In other words, you’re going to watch me build this baby from the ground up. Hang on, it is likely to be a wild ride!
{UPDATE in 2012} So, uhm, YEAH. I should know better. ANY time I write a “I’m going to do this every single day!” sort of post, I only manage to do it for like 3 days. Ok. FAIL. But! I’ve got a great long list of posts planned, so you should keep coming back. We will learn a lot together!

So exciting! I always love your business input, so I’ll be following every word.
Congratulations on launching into the Business Of Awesome! I can’t wait to read your awesome ideas, insights and strategies.
Perhaps we can swap a guest post (and help each other with our #ContentPalooza goals?)
Best wishes!
