Meet Other Photographers When You Travel!

I travel a lot for photoshoots, conferences, workshops and vacation. Whenever I visit a city, I make a point to reach out to others in that city that I know through forums or past events like Imaging and WPPI and see them while I’m there. Over the past 5 years, these networks have been so valuable to me!

This week I’m in Denver, so I had meetings planned over meals with three other Boudoir photographers, along with a meet up one night so I could see 10 more photographer friends, I toured my lab (more on that soon!).

I met with the Team-X founder, Jeff Jochum, to talk about the plans for coaching along with my future plans for this site and my Houston Boudoir photography business.

All in all, an amazingly productive week! Photography can be a lonely business. We don’t have coworkers. So be sure to network with the ones in your area – but get out and meet others everywhere you go! You never know what insight they may share that might help you along!
