Kelli & Janet came to us over a year ago to see if we would be available to photograph their wedding – and Elaine & I could not have been more thrilled to be a part of this wonderful celebration of their love! They had the wedding planned for in the backyard of Kelli’s parent’s house and it was the perfect setting for them. A nice summer breeze, a beautiful sunset, twinkle lights in the trees, sparklers, and just a whole lot of love surrounded us all.
I am not ashamed to admit that I cry at some point in time at every wedding – either during the ceremony, the first dance, the toasts – somewhere along the way I cry. I think that their wedding takes the record though. I cried at least 4 times throughout the day. It was just such a blessing to be a part of it!
At the last minute, both of them were worried they would forget their vows, so they wrote them out. Kelli chose to write them on paper. Janet wrote them on her hand, which lead to all of us laughing during the ceremony!
I love this shot that Elaine got of their exit — well, the first exit, before everyone went inside and changed into comfy clothes!
Thank you again to Kelli, Janet, and both of their families for letting us be a part of such a special day!

Oh that last picture is gorgeous! They both looked beautiful and captured it wonderfully!
These are all incredible. What a beautiful couple. That last shot brought the tears to my eyes…the happiness in that photo and the celebration of love is what marriage means to me.
Wonderful, kelly and janet
