I was working last night on making an FAQ page for people to easily refer to for information. I still need to add anchor links to the page, which will require a little research on HTML, but I think there is some good stuff there. If you read through it and have any questions, please feel free to contact me and let me know so I can add them! christine at this domain is my email address – pretty easy to remember!
I just now thought of one handy tip that I’ll be adding there in a moment – no matter who you choose to meet with and hire to photograph your wedding, be sure to ask them if you can review a gallery or two of their wedding photography. An entire wedding from beginning to end, using the same online proofing system that they use. (Assuming they do online proofing – it really is the green alternative, and I think every photographer I know does it.) That way, you can see what an entire day looks like through their lens, not just the best shots that they have selected for their portfolio or albums.
If you would like to view any of my online galleries, please feel free to contact me and let me know! If you are considering hiring us for your wedding photographers or know someone who would be interested, I would be happy to pass along access codes so that you could check them out.

Love the FAQ, Christine! As a former wedding photographer-shopper I would have been thrilled to find all this on your website when I first stumbled across it. 🙂
PS- I also really like the redesign.. and you really warmed this usability/accessibility-minded librarian’s heart by getting rid of the splash page, hehe (my masters thesis was on the usability of electronic resources!)
I’ll email you this weekend about engagement pictures etc.
Andrea, the usability issue always really bothered me. I’m so much happier with the site after the changes this week! By the way, if you ever want to be introduced to the usability/accessibility people in the UK, let me know – I have several connections there! Along with knowing librarians in the field in the US too!
Can’t wait to meet you in person when you make it to Houston!
Christine,
I just came across this site today and thought of you:

Hi Christine! Hopefully you’ll see this- I emailed you a few days ago and this morning. If you didn’t get it, let me know!
