I’m so excited! It is Brandi & Donald’s Wedding Day! When I delivered Brandi’s bridal portrait and the above portrait from their engagement session on Thursday afternoon, we talked about how we can’t believe the day is finally here. She was so calm about it all too – I love to see that. They are such a wonderful couple, and I just know it is going to be a fantastic celebration of their love.
Elaine & I are heading over to Port Arthur and then Beamont today for the wedding and reception. I can’t wait to see Donald’s look when he first sees her in her gorgeous wedding dress. I just know he is going to be blown away.

Come to think of it, it was later that same day that we were pulling out of 11th Street Cafe and I first spotted Clover and thought that it would be the perfect place for a studio. Now, six months later, I’m renting space from the owner and using it for just that, and Brandi’s bridal portraits were my first portraits taken there in the new space. How is that for everything coming around?!?
