Weddings & Engagement Sessions

Betsy & Robert’s Wedding in The Woodlands, Texas, August 7, 2010

Hey Christine!

We had such a great time with you and my wedding party, family, friends, etc. just raved about how fun you were! They also commented how they had really mean photographers in the past who took such staged shots and would push people out of the way, but not you! They were like, “She even danced with us!” They are all anxiously awaiting the pictures, as well!

I, personally, am deeply thankful I found you. The day we took my bridal portraits was extremely emotional for me. I was worried that not having my mom or sister there would make me sad, but you made up for it in every way. You were so kind, patient, friendly, personal, compassionate, and I am constantly impressed with your skill and dedication. I think I truly found the BEST photographer! That day was so special to me and I left there feeling like a superstar! :-) I hope the wedding didn’t get too crazy for you and that you all had fun, as well! From the bottom of my heart, I cannot thank you enough for everything you did – again, you were AMAZING!~

Sincerely,
Betsy

AMAZING! Christine Tremoulet is a true artist! I am simply blessed to have her as my wedding photographer. Photography was on the top of my important list, and I did more than my share of research. Christine was the very first and only photographer I meet with and hired! I faithfully stalked her blog and was amazed by the images I saw – and I knew without a doubt that I wanted her to shoot all the images for my wedding. She is friendly, great, fun and an absolute joy to work with! Her cheery personality is a plus! She made me feel comfortable from our very first meeting. She promptly answered questions and emails!

From the engagement session, to the bridals and finally the 18+ hour wedding day (hair & make – up, complete with two ceremonies, formal photos, reception and grand exit) – Christine never ceased to amaze me, she captured our wedding in its true essence, very genuine, very glam, very fun, very us! There were a total of 2700+ photos taken. I couldn’t decide what to print because her work is stunning. I ended up printing over 2000 photos!

Many thanks for making our day so special and for being such a trooper … all smiles and cheer from Christine during the whole 18 hours! She went above and beyond anything I ever imagined – she even gave me a two special gifts the morning of the wedding, and was always ready to lend a helping hand! She gave me a huge framed print of one of my bridal photos! And she made hundreds of business cards with the password and link to our wedding photos and one of our engagement photos on the back of the business cards – to give to our guests to view our online photo galleries she set up for us!

All our beautiful moments, joy and emotions were captured memories because of her amazing talent! We are lifetime fans of Christine!

Tiffany & Romeo, The Woodlands Resort, December 31, 2009

I first met Christine at my cousin’s wedding in October of 2009. During my cousin’s wedding day session Christine captured every single detail, from the makeup to the morning toast, girls doing their hair and everyone getting dressed. She was spunky, energetic, funny, and so creative. My mother then got in contact with her and she gave us a wonderful package! She called me to discuss details and her energy really made me feel comfortable. My fiance decided to take pictures on a Saturday morning, at the Woodlands Resort. The day was rainy, gloomy, and a little depressing but when we met with Christine it was like all the bad weather faded away, and her smile brought the sunshine! She was so funny, she has the greatest ideas and all though it was a gloomy day- the pictures turned out wonderful.

We got married on New Years Eve 2009. Christine took excellent pictures of our family and friends, she captures the true essence of happiness. Every time I look at our pictures I can remember exactly how I felt at that moment. She is so talented, outgoing, alert, upbeat, efficient, warm, silly, trustworthy, and I encourage anyone to use her for any type of session. She can do it all, but you dont have to ask around or take my word for it, Just look at her work, it is breathtaking.

Thank you Christine for my beautiful memories, and thankyou for just being you. Love Always, Tiffany xoxo

Angela & Tex, Houston Museum of Natural Science, Houston TX, October 31, 2009

Christine is AMAZING. Not only are her photographs beautiful, she really listens to you and works with you to capture your vision of your wedding. She is also amazingly fun, easy to talk to, and completely flexible. Unlike a lot of photographers, she addresses any concerns and issues right away. She does prefer to go with the flow, but don’t let that attitude fool you! She is very professional. She also does a fantastic job making you look good – even if (like me) you’re not typically photogenic! I absolutely adore her, and her photographs – highly highly highly recommended!!!

She has set wedding packages, but she will also work with you to create a custom package. She includes a DVD with all your images in high resolution and a print release so you can have them printed where you like.

Bianca & Roberto, Chapel of St. Basil and the Milford House, Houston TX, October 30, 2009

Christine is a great photographer! From the initial consultation I knew that I had found the perfect fit for me. She worked seamlessly with my other vendors and everyone mentioned how professional and personable she was. If you like her style and are ready to be taken care of she is perfect for your event!

Brooke & Nathan, Christ Church Cathedral and the Plaza Club Downtown at One Shell, Houston TX, October 17, 2009

Christine did a fantastic job capturing our wedding day and night! I’m so happy we hired her, I don’t think anyone else could have taken such beautiful photos. Hire her! She is worth every penny and then some!

Kelly & Ted, Holy Rosary Catholic Church and The Woodlands Resort, Houston TX, October 10, 2009

When I started looking for photographers, Christine was at the top of my list (and price point). After meeting with a few other “less expensive” photographers I couldn’t help but want Christine – her work was amazing, and I wanted my wedding to be amazing. After debating over it for a few weeks I took the plunge and called Christine, letting her know my concerns, budget, ideas, etc. It was instant chemistry! She was able to work with me and get me everything I needed. Christine (and her team) made everyone very comfortable and made the day extremely enjoyable! My pics are AMAZING and I wish she could just follow me around to every big event to capture those cool shots!! I would highly reccomend her for any wedding event big or small. If you want to be relaxed and know that everything will be taken care of on your wedding day, Christine is it!

Kat & Ryan, La Tranquela Ranch, Tomball TX, October 3, 2009

Christine becomes more than your photographer, she becomes your friend. She will tell you herself, that there are so many amazing photographers in the Houston area. Heck, she has meetings with many of them every month. She is not trying to compete with the ability of so many others out there. She wants to be your friend. When you book Christine, you are ensuring that you will be 100% comfortable on your wedding day and with your picture being taken and that it is all being captured. I was a bride that put the photographer above all other vendors…no pressure right!? Well I met with several photogs and Christine was it! She is silly and fun, and works her tail off to make sure you have all the images you want. Also, my guests complimented how nice the photographers were and as a result…we have great photos of our guests from the wedding as well! I didn’t get to meet Elaine cause she was in an accident and hurt a few weeks before my wedding, but Christine went through her list and secured us Kari Noser. She was amazing too!! I love our wedding photos!!

Blessing Kievin - Wedding Photographers - Houston, Texas

Dana & Kievin’s Wedding in Houston, Texas, September 5, 2009 – blog post

I luckily had an inside scoop of these phenomenal photographers work! So, without a question or research as some brides do, I knew exactly who my photographers were going to be. Elaine photographed my engagement and bridal portraits. The engagement pictures were taken downtown on such a gloomy day, but we made the best of it and the pictures came out great! Elaine also had to work with the non-smiling groom! She knew when it was time to call it a day! Elaine suggested we take my bridal portraits where we were holding our wedding reception, Sambuca. This was a wonderful and memorable idea! We had so much fun, the place to ourselves and many curious on-lookers!

Finally the wedding day…Christine and Elaine were up bright and early for a 10:30am wedding. So, as you know, they had to be there much earlier to catch all the bridal party preparation as well as the bride. There were so many detailed items in the wedding and they were all captured. I had no reason or need to ask them if they caught that or remember to take this. They were on top of everything. The ease of the wedding portraits after the ceremony was gasping! I couldn’t believe how calm and collected they were. We both have a large immediate family, and pictures were taken quickly and effortlessly!

I must say, Christine and Elaine are great to work with. They focus on your needs and work with you in any way possible. Their photographs show their passion for what they do and the joy of making the BRIDE, most important one, HAPPY! I would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for any type of photography needs.

Jodie & Wei’s Wedding in Houston, Texas, March 21, 2009

Yes, we looked at aaaallll the pictures! My close friends, family members, and I are very impressed with the pictures! I think they’re the best pictures of Wei and me ever! Thank you, Elaine, and Kelly for being fun, energetic, and great photgraphers!

Sharon & Jason’s Wedding at Indian Summer Lodge in Houston, Texas, March 14, 2009

The photos are beautiful! We have really enjoyed looking at them and seeing the moments we didn’t catch in all the action. We’ve been passing it on to family and friends as well. Although, I didn’t know I made such crazy facial expressions! (particularly during the toasts) :)

Thank you and Elaine for such amazing photography, professionalism, and making us feel so comfortable. Please feel free to pass on my information if a potential client needs a reference.

Happily Married!

Erika & Nick’s Wedding in Corpus Christi, Texas, January 10, 2009 – Part 1 | Part 2

I can’t tell you how great you were at the wedding. EVERYBODY thought y’all were awesome. Someone told me that one of you were on the floor between the pews during the ceremony! I said “Man they’re like ninjas!” Thank you so much for the beautiful picture frame. I might not have shown how surprised I was when I saw it because of everything that was going on at the time. But every time I look at it I think of you and just say “WOW, I can’t believe she gave us this HUGE picture frame and picture.” I wasn’t expecting it to be that big. It’s a perfect gift Christine, thank you so much!

Everyone liked the cards with our picture on it and the slide show you put up at the wedding. They all keep asking me when the pictures are going to be up. Even my relatives that I hardly see called my cousin the day after the wedding to get the website to look at them and show their families.

Thank you so much for e-mailing me when Frank told you about me and for working with our budget. You helped us incredibly and I can’t thank you enough. Anytime I see someone looking for a photographer I will definitely tell them about you!

Thank you again for EVERYTHING!!! Talk to you soon!

I just looked at all the pics! How in the world do you make us look so good?? We need to just bring you with us wherever we go! Love all the pics, and thank you sooo sooo much for coming with us on Monday. Looking at those pictures now, I’m so glad that we do have pictures from that day.

Lindsey & Shelby at Paraiso Maravilla, Houston, Texas, October 12, 2008

When I found Christine online I knew I had to have her for my wedding, and I am so happy I was able to. Not only are her pictures amazingly fabulous, but she is such a pleasure to work with; she really cares about getting to know you and making sure your day goes smoothly. Between having her and her assistant on your weding day and all that the packages include, it is a great value. I couldnt be happier, she is the best!

Erika

Somehow I knew from the first time I met you at Lauren and Dante’s wedding that if I ever got married, you would be my photographer. The way you and Elaine didn’t hesitate to jump in and save the day when their photographer didn’t show up showed me the passion you have for your work and how you truly care about brides and their big day- even ones you had never met. Of course, it sealed the deal when I saw how incredible their pictures turned out and it only took a few days after I got engaged to contact you. When I asked if you had September the 27th, my birthday, available to photograph my wedding, I quickly got a response back that you did have the date available- and it was your birthday too! Instant connection! My plans changed several times and you were always there to give me such helpful advice and endured a lot of venting- you sure know how to handle the disgruntled bride!

When everything finally seemed to be in place, an unwelcome hurricane Ike came through Houston and brought with him devastation no one had expected- two weeks before my wedding. Your encouraging words during that difficult time meant so much to me. You went above and beyond your photographer duties; you were a true friend that was genuinely concerned about my happiness and the safety of my family. When reality set in that power would most likely not be restored at our venue, I could have easily broken down and called off the wedding, but your confidence was infectious and I was able to relax and just let what was meant to happen, happen. You turned out to be absolutely right in your confidence that everything would be perfect- we could not have had better weather and even though you had your work cut out for you taking pictures in less than ideal lighting, they turned out absolutely amazing and simply exquisite. True talent at it’s best!

I can’t even describe all of the emotions I feel when I look at our pictures… I cry, I laugh, I am just so incredibly happy to have the best night of my life captured in such a beautiful way. I remember my dad making a comment after the wedding saying, “Erika, I’m not sure about those photographers… They took pictures of everything- even empty chairs!” Little did he know that those pictures, the ones with the subtle details, are so important to any bride that wants to remember absolutely everything. I can not go anywhere or talk to anyone without them telling me how fantastic my photographer was- I still get it over three months later! You and Elaine literally made my night and I could never thank you enough for all of the memories you have given me and my family. You have the perfect combination of creativity, vision, professionalism, personality, and character that made my experience with you a great one and I look forward to keeping in touch with you for years to come!

Tricia & Daniel - Wedding Photography in The Woodlands, Texas

Tricia & Daniel in The Woodlands, Texas, September 20, 2008 – Blog Post | Photo Gallery

I’m so grateful for everything you did to make our wedding a blast. I had a ton of fun with you, and I hope you and Elaine had fun too!

As for the photos: HOLY SMOKES THEY’RE AMAZING. I absolutely adore them–thanks so much! I’ll be glad to “favorite” them and I can’t wait to see us on your main blog. I think they’re just beautiful and they absolutely captured the energy and atmosphere of the whole day. My family loves them and I just adore them, and I can’t thank you enough.

Tricia also posted a fabulous review over on WeddingWire:

I found Christine after she saved the day at the wedding of my friend’s sister: their first photographer bailed on them, and Christine came in with 45 minutes’ notice and took hours of gorgeous photos. [edited to add: that would be Lauren & Dante's wedding in November, 2007.]

Working with Christine was a wonderful experience that I can’t say enough good things about. I’ve met few people with such a stellar combination of personal warmth, professionalism, and creative talent. It was a joy to plan with Christine, to take our engagement photos with her (she travelled to Austin with us so my fiancé and I could take photos on campus at UT, our alma mater!), and to share our wedding day with her. She’s quick to get back to you via email and on the phone, and she’ll always be straightforward with you: she’ll never leave you hanging, and she tells you exactly what you get every step of the way.

Of all the photographers we looked at, Christine was the best value and the best photographer of all. What you get is extraordinary: you get two photographers for your wedding, a complimentary engagement photo, and all of your photos custom printed and bound for you. While some people might want to get their photos printed on their own and make their own wedding albums, I’m not that girl–I’d much rather have a professional help me make something that’s truly high quality and truly beautiful.

As far as brides go, I was pretty low-maintenance. I’m the kind of girl who’ll spend where it counts and skimp where it doesn’t–and when it comes to your wedding photos, it’s worth spending some money. This is the record of your celebration, and you want someone whose highest priorities are consummate professionalism, taking extraordinary photos, and preserving those memories in high-quality photo products. Christine is the best of the best, and I’m so grateful for her work.

Leah & Ryan in New Iberia, Louisiana, September 13, 2008

My wedding took place the same day that Ike hit Houston. Christine secured her son, and she got in her car in the middle of the night to drive to Louisiana to do my wedding. Her willingness and determination to be there moves me to this day. She is so much more than just a photographer. She has quickly become a dear, sweet friend. Not to mention, my pictures are just gorgeous! I would recommend her to anyone that needed a photographer for any event or occasion! You can bet I will!

Oh Christine! I hardly even know where to begin! Our engagement pictures turned out so beautiful! The best part of it all was that we had fun, and it shows. I’m not sure you realize how difficult pictures are with Ryan. He detests having his picture taken, but you made the morning fun. Thank you a thousand times! I can NOT wait until the wedding!

Kara & Brian’s Wedding, Houston, Texas, May 30, 2008 – Engagement Session

Christine was fabulous! She went out of her way to make our wedding special. She even framed and delivered the pictures we wanted at the reception the day of the wedding…a HUGE help! She is very creative, professional, and passionate about her work – which makes for fabulous pictures. My guests were so impressed with the cards she passed out at the reception. It had a beautiful picture from our engagment session on one side and information to view the pictures on the other. I highly recommend her!

Lauren & Dante, November 10, 2007 – Slideshow | Blog – Defining Moments, Ceremony, Reception, Details, Slideshow

I had the enormous pleasure of working with Christine Tremoulet at our wedding. Long story short, our original photographer was a no-show, and Christine (with her photo partner Elaine) powered through a long day of wedding shooting to come and rescue us at the last minute.

They were extremely professional throughout the whole wedding and reception. Even our guests expressed to us that they found Christine and Elaine to be very personable and fun. I almost felt bad for them since half of our bridesmaids wouldn’t leave them alone!

Our pictures came out gorgeous. They captured every moment and detail — including things that I didn’t even know about! I’m beyond satisfied with the quality of their work. They took so many pictures that it’s difficult to choose our favorites.

We were also shocked by how great their packages are. You certainly get what you pay for, and then some. Christine is also incredibly responsive when it comes to emails and phone calls. We got our online proofs quickly and the system is very easy to use. I especially like the “My Favorites” option that they have.

All in all, working with Christine has been fantastic. Not only are her pictures beautiful, she’s just a fabulous person. Anyone that can come and shoot our wedding on 5 minutes notice and still provide us with the level of service that she did deserves 100 of those little yellow stars. I highly reccommend!

Boudoir Sessions

Mrs. T’s Boudoir Session at Hotel Zaza in the Museum District, Houston, Texas – January, 2009

THANK YOU!!!

The album is perfect.. The finished product is more that I expected. And my husband just loved it.. His eyes got really big when he saw the first picture, and wider as the he flipped through the pages. After he was finished, he said that he thinks that is the best gift he has ever received…. I can’t think of anything that could have been better. You didn’t a fantastic job…

Thanks again….

Miss L’s Boudoir Session, Houston, Texas, August 2, 2008

Thank you again for yesterday! I had such a great time with you! I felt so comfortable and really left the session with more confidence and really loving myself more!

Miss K’s Boudoir Session – Studio Session, July 2, 2008 – Boudoir Preview (Note: Link goes to page with boudoir photos.)

A future client asked to speak with a client that I had worked with to get feedback on doing a session – this is what Miss K sent to her, and kindly granted me permission to post here!

Christine and I had our boudoir session on Wednesday, July 2nd, and I’m so happy to recommend her. I’m happy that I decided to do it. Christine was wonderful – a consummate professional. Even standing there in my skivvies, she always made me feel comfortable and beautiful (and her photos reflected that).

I arrived and showed Christine what I’d brought to wear. I put on the first outfit (my most tame), and we played with different poses and backgrounds. It was not embarassing at all because Christine really takes care of you (ie makes sure that you look great in the shots and that you’re looking/feeling natural). We did all kinds of poses, from being on the bed in more “come hither” poses (but classy “come hither” poses) to sitting in chairs in more portrait-ish style (stuff that can sit on my fiance’s desk at work). Christine also took some great candids and journalistic shots that I will treasure.

All in all, I’m thrilled to have had the experience, and I trust Christine so much. She has a great eye, and her work is beautiful. But mostly, we just had fun, and she really took her time, attended to every little detail, and really impressed me with her personality and professionalism. I simply cannot say enough great things about both the experience and Christine! Enjoy your session, if you decide to book one, and best wishes.
