Chris Becker is a dad, a husband, a wedding photographer, a poker player, an #LCHF advocate (Low Carb, High Fat), a bacon connoisseur and a recovering Diet Dr. Pepper addict. It is my mission in life to help others become the best versions of themselves, while I continue to grow and evolve into the best version of myself.
Back in 2011, Chris was a HUGE part of the inspiration for me to completely change my life. Yes, I know that sounds drastic and extreme – but it is the reality. After watching him lose 50lbs, I decided that it was time I do something about the weight I had been saying for years that I wanted to lose.
I realized one day that if you want to change your life? You have to make a LIFE CHANGE.
I know, it looks so simple when you put it like that, but that one concept made the journey of losing 40lbs – and keeping it off for over 4 years now – so much easier.
Did you know that the majority of the weight issue is tied to what you eat, not how often you exercise? Fat isn’t making you fat – sugar is. (I feel completely betrayed by everything I was told eat and avoid over the past 20+ years!)
Chris has been a constant inspiration for me over those years, and at the end of 2015 he started up his Lazy Man’s Challenge. (Don’t let the “man” part fool you – over 60% of the participants have been women!) Having a community to support you as you go through the journey of kicking the sugar habit and working to become your best self? It is so amazing I can’t even put it in to words.
