Celebrate Good Times!

In 2004 as Mike & I planned our wedding, I hit that point that so many brides seem to hit - I just wanted to be done with the planning and elope.

Mike said to me that everyone comes together to celebrate you only a few times in your life. Your family, your friends, everyone near and far gathers for your wedding day. He wanted that - he wanted to gather all the people we love together to celebrate us.

He was absolutely right. I'm so thankful that I listened to him.

That is why I love documenting people's weddings and all the future moments for their family as well.

New Weddings in Houston Ad

And with summer comes the new ad for Weddings in Houston magazine! This time around, we’ve decided to go BIG! It will be full page ad that will come out in the very near future – I’ll keep you posted when it hits the store shelves!

I also submitted my entries today for the 2008 Brides Magazine Photo Contest, which is exclusive – only members of the Wedding Photojournalist Association are allowed to enter. First place winning images from each category will be featured in the November/December 2008 issue of BRIDES Magazine! The top 10 images from each category will also be published on BRIDES.com and WPJA.com. My fingers are crossed hoping that I might win a category or two!

I am Christine Selleck Tremoulet, the Wedding & Boudoir Photographer based in Houston, Texas. I specialize in international destination wedding and boudoir portrait photography with both documentary (wedding photojournalist) and editorial style. I am located in Houston, Texas and regularly photograph in the surrounding cities and counties of South Texas and Louisiana: Galveston, Spring, The Woodlands, Tomball, Austin, College Station, Lafayette and New Orleans. Really, I am happy to travel almost anywhere!

I have photographed weddings and sessions in Caye Caulker, Belize; Puerto Villarta, Mexico; New York, New York; Brooklyn, New York; Cape Cod (Sandwich), Massachusetts; Asheville, North Carolina; St. Simons Island, Georgia; St. Louis, Missouri; Paris, France; London, England; and a number of cities in Germany.
