I’d love a 5D Mk II, but the video is really tricky. It’s going to take lots of practice for people to really get the hang of using it. I got to play with my friend Ryan’s two weeks ago. Basically, you need an external mic if you want to shoot real video with it. The most practical purpose right now seems to be short vignettes that you’ll dub over / set to music.
