Celebrate Good Times!

In 2004 as Mike & I planned our wedding, I hit that point that so many brides seem to hit - I just wanted to be done with the planning and elope.

Mike said to me that everyone comes together to celebrate you only a few times in your life. Your family, your friends, everyone near and far gathers for your wedding day. He wanted that - he wanted to gather all the people we love together to celebrate us.

He was absolutely right. I'm so thankful that I listened to him.

That is why I love documenting people's weddings and all the future moments for their family as well.

Maren & Clint

Maren & Clint are getting married today! These are photos from their engagement session back on April 13, 2008 at the Houston Zoo. We had this great idea that we would take photos in the petting zoo with all the animals – but the animals? They had a different plan! So the above photo is the result. Oh well, we still had a great time at the zoo!

I am located in Houston, Texas and regularly photograph in the surrounding cities and counties of South Texas and Louisiana: Galveston, Spring, The Woodlands, Tomball, Austin, College Station, Lafayette and New Orleans. Really, I am happy to travel almost anywhere!
