Monthly Archives: April 2009I wanted to share the layout of Erika & Jason’s wedding album – I love it! They are in the process of selecting their cover leather and parent albums and then we’ll be ordering it, along with a sample for the studio too! I can’t wait! I got this email this morning from Erika about the album:  A few weeks ago, on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon, Farhana, Javad & I took advantage of the wonderful weather and the fact that Javad was in town for the weekend and had an engagement session in downtown Houston. We had such a great time, and they are such a wonderful couple. I can’t wait for their wedding weekend coming…  I’ve posted about the gorgeous, amazing, wonderful Gallery Wrapped Canvas Print we had made by Pixel2Canvas. When I met Roxanne & CB in Las Vegas in February and saw their Legacy Canvases, they blew away *every* other canvas I saw there. (Trust me, I got nose to canvas with a lot of other ones at the trade show,…  I moved to Houston in the 1980s from Kankakee, Illinois, a city about 60 miles south of Chicago. Kankakee has actual Frank Lloyd Wright houses, built in his early Prairie School Architecture style. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved that type of architecture. That era, and the Bungalow style houses that followed, have always been…  On April 4, Elaine & I photographed the wedding of our long-time friend Sydney. It was such a beautiful, amazing, wonderful day. We’ve been so blessed to know Sydney for 6+ years now, and we all miss her since she moved a few years ago to Washington – where she met Chris.
