I have a confession I need to make. I am completely addicted to reading the Wedding Bee website. Like almost daily. It is bad, but I can’t get enough of the wedding goodness over there! (I secretly dream of having a Bee for a bride someday.)
There are TONS of great tips shared there all the time. If you are planning a wedding and you haven’t checked it out already, make a point of doing it right away. Then you can be a Bee Junkie too!
Any other great sites I should be following out there?
ShootQ Party Time!

Packing up to head out of town for the ShootQ set up party in Austin tomorrow! I’m so excited about what ShootQ has to offer my clients, at least from what I saw of the demo of it back at the Elevate workshop in June.

I had so much fun at Mercedes & Tim’s engagement session - they kept making one another laugh, and the joy was just contagious. I can’t WAIT for their wedding in November!
I was sick earlier this week, and have not finished proofing their session as originally planned. I wanted to post this one though; from my initial preview, it is definitely one of my favorites from the day!
Introducing my New & Improved Logo!

Squeeeeeee!!! I just sent the email off to Amy Grace of Candy Apple Studios finalizing my NEW & Improved logo!
It is based on the original one, but it needed some polish & tweaks. I also wanted an element that I could use on its own for things in the future like pins, stickers, whatever. On top of that, Amy provides logos in a variety of formats, making it very easy to print them large. Something I’ll be doing before the next round of bridal shows.
Amy let me give a lot of feedback and tweaked away to get it just right. I loved how easy she was to work with, and how willing she was to incorporate my crazy ideas as we were chatting online, updating me real-time! Two thumbs up - for any photographers considering the need for a new logo, I HIGHLY recommend working with her!

I’ve mentioned here before wanting to do a trash the dress session with one of my wedding photography clients, but this? This is SOOOOOOO not what I had in mind!
You may recall that I mentioned attending the Elevate workshop back in June in Orlando. Dan and Jim were there too, and I can see they have definitely put their skills to good use!
